When I try to install a new program from a CD or a downloaded upgrade file, I get the following error message.
InstallShield Wizard
Setup has experienced an error.
Please do the following:
Close any running programs.
Empty your temporary folder.
Check your internet connection.
Then try to run the setup again.
Error code -6001
I have emptied the Temp folder, closed open programs and turned on and off my ISP when trying to install and I get the same message each time.
I have WIN XP SP2 on a Dell XPS B1000 computer with plenty of memory available.
Any help would be appreciated.
